Keyes plant in the on the Kennebec River, straddles the Fairfield-Waterville town borders. Keyes is a worldwide manufacturer of formed fiber products including disposable plates, egg cartons, fruit packaging, etc. In the distance, on the right are steeple towers of Colby College chapel and library. Along the right side of the river is the Maine Central Railroad service yard. Downstream on the left are the hydro dam and smokestack of the former Scott Paper Company plant.
